It must be 40 years since we hosted an event here and it was certainly our first Targa event at this venue.

Thank you for the email. We (car 23) had a fantastic day. The effort you had put into organising the event was evident from the start. Clear, concise instructions, the ‘road book’ and diagrams were excellent quality, and the tests themselves were well laid out and great fun to drive. Very slippery in places. We were chuffed to be well up in the time sheets at lunch time, but made a mistake or two in the afternoon to end up tenth. The timing lights on the minute were very good too.
A big thanks to all the marshals and stewards who were all very pleasant and helpful, even at end of day having been on duty for the whole event. THANK YOU!
Berwick is our home club and we shall indeed tell everyone about the Lambton event and the great job by Whickham.
We are hoping to be able to do the Shaw and would certainly love to return to Lambton for more of the same.
