Feel It Night

Audrey put one of her Feel It Night on Thursday 30th August, Colin Fish also had a Timing Event

The Feel it had folks trying to guess what was hidden in the boxes

A tyre pressure gauge was Not in box 1, it was a compression tester!

Next was a Drill/Tap holder, then some vegetables, including the wierdest shaped Sweet Potato, more vg in the next box, an aubergine & corn cob, then jacks & balls, that old childs game jacks or chucks, then a dent puller and finally a folding jewellers magnifying glass. The tie decider was What year was the chuck game patented.

Gordon B & Peter M both tied and both picked 1895 as the year, this was incorrect, Peter & Gordon had another stab at it Peter being the nearest so he won that.

Then folks had a try at Colins timing event some good and some poor guesses, but Peter M was the closest remarkably guessing correctly te 30 seconds and the 60 seconds, but was 1 second out on the 90 seconds!! so Peter won both events!

One point about the night was the disappointing number of members who attended, only 15 members turned up! a lot of the buffet the club provided went to waste!

we have members putting on events yet folks are not turning up!
